***You must be 13 years of age or older to create an email account***
Go to www.google.ca
Click on "Sign In" in the top right corner of the screen
Click on "Sign Up" in the top right corner of the screen
Fill in all the information it asks (name, birthday, etc.)
When it asks you your USERNAME:
Your username will be what others will see when they email you. It is the name of your email.
Pick a name that you like, and that you will remember.
It doesn't have to be your name! It can be your favorite animal, color, nickname...
Just be careful not to put any information in your email address like your birthday, address, school you go to, etc.
PASSWORD:
Make your password something that only you would know!
Don't make it your name, birthday, address, or anything like that.
You may have to use a combination of letters and numbers.
When you are done filling out all your information, type the two words in the verification box.
If you are having trouble seeing the words, you can click on the arrow to give you a new set of words.
Save your information, and voila!
You have an email address!
